Brooklyn Chop House plays on the double meaning of the word “Chop”. Dim Sum & Chops. Marrying what made him a well-known name in the industry with Philippe Chow. Stratis has taken the best of those two menus and married them with Steakhouse classics like dry-aged 30-45 day Prime Steaks including Porterhouse. For 2, NY Strip, and Bone-In Rib Eye. The game-changer and the uniqueness of the BCH menu came home with taking the staples of his father’s Hilltop Diner such as the Pastrami, The Reuben, Philly Cheesesteak, Bacon Cheeseburger & the French Onion Soup and turning them into dumplings. This has driven the BCH concept viral on social media as the FIRST to reimagine the deli / diner sandwiches into dumplings.

Brooklyn Chop House & Brooklyn Chop House Grocer, the Black-Owned restaurant group renowned for its innovative fusion of classic Asian cuisine with New York flair team made up of Robert “Don Pooh” Cummins, Dave Thomas, Charles Suitt, and Stratis Morfogen, came up with the concept to package their famous dumplings in partnership with the legendary singer Patti LaBelle and Patti LaBelle Foods (Gina is awaiting how to share this from Ms. LaBelles team) back in 2019. In 2023, they secured the partnership with Patti LaBelle Foods, making entry into over 1,000 Walmart stores across the United States. Ms. LaBelle brought this deal to Walmart through her company, ZPAC, which focuses on placing minority companies into big box stores. This exciting development marks a significant milestone for the iconic eatery, bringing its delectable dumplings to a broader audience of food enthusiasts.
